In the past I have written a lot about fear.  Fear is the enemy.  Not your spouse, your bills, your children or your career.  Fear is the enemy.  It’s faith twisted and reversed.

It steals your POWER for living.

In recent days I have been fighting an enormous fear. Fear of not being enough for my wife, my children.  Fear, when I put every ounce of energy, time and heart into my business and an obstacle stops me in my tracks.

Fear makes fools of us all.  It can create silly arguments that spin out of control.

It can cause (and does) Cancer, Ulcers and many other physical ailments.

I don’t like being away from my wife and kids for too long. Recently she went to visit family.  I was unable to go, due to work.

This troubled me greatly. The pain was terrible. I began to doubt myself and who I was.

My heart and mind was with them, but my body was here in Michigan.

I was torn in two.  When my lady spoke to me on the phone and seemed very relaxed.

I was glad for I always want the very best for her, even to the point of sacrificing my own needs and desires.
After the call, fear entered my mind.

HINT: It will always enter the mind in the form of a question.   “She is so relaxed and sounding so happy.  Why would she need you?  She isn’t stressed.”

**One of the areas Satan will attack a MAN is in the area of provision and contribution.

**He will also form an attack on a WOMAN in the area of her nurturing nature or beauty.

I was battling my own self-worth and purpose.  “AM I enough?” I questioned. If your a man I am sure you have asked this as you stared in the mirror.mirror

We all do it.

After a horrible morning of battling this fear, I stopped and thought of what I have taught my wife and kids to do if they should ever be afraid.

I went to the place where Jesus was tested in the wilderness.  He didn’t lament over his fear. He didn’t argue intelligently or whimper and cry.

You know what he did?  He told it to GO.

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[ by the devil.  After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.  The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.  “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”

Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.]

Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Have you ever been afraid? Don’t be ashamed. Shame shuts down your bravery and gives fear an even greater hold.

When a child is afraid they admit it. Adults are so conformed and molded to society that admitting fear is like pulling your teeth out with a pair of pliers.

Be courageous like Jesus. STOP and FACE your FEAR. Tell it to GO.

Fear isn’t real. It is False/Evidence/Appearing/Real.
