My brother and I were talking last night over dinner. I asked him “If you acknowledge your limits, does it make you unlimited?” He said, yes. By realizing your limits we are able to exceed those limitations. We can then move past the limits that once held us in bondage.
Just imagine. If you didn’t realize you couldn’t fly, you might think of jumping off a skyscraper. It’s our limits that make us unique. God knows we can’t fly, or provide for ourselves. Its no surprise to him.
His plan was to take care of us. In the Garden of Eden God was fully vested in his parental role. He provided everything for Adam and Eve. He gave them 24 hour power to achieve anything in a moment’s time.
God hasn’t changed since the garden. He sent his son Jesus to represent him. He still is in the business of giving his children 24 hour power
What are your limits? Name 3 today and give them to God in prayer. Each day consciously remind yourself that these 3 limits are in the unlimited hands of your creator.
So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; he’ll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.
